St. Louis Scott Gallagher SC hosted Minnesota United Saturday in three matches – U15, U17 and U18. The program went 2-1 with wins by the two younger age groups, all games played at Ralph Korte Stadium in Edwardsville due to the MSHSAA State Finals that were underway at WWT Soccer Park. I caught the two wins and you can find the photo galleries and slideshows below. I’ll be back with the game reports later this evening (busy weekend, six games to edit and report on). On a related note, the Minnesota United U17’s lost 1-6 to St. Louis City Academy on Sunday. The team from the North is in their first year of existence, after folding the Academy program two years earlier and now restarting again, thus the small set of teams.
